Twin Falls is the county seat and largest city of Twin Falls County, Idaho, United States. The population was 44,125 at the 2010 census
Twin Falls is the largest city of Idaho’s Magic Valley region. As the largest city in a 100-mile (166-kilometer) radius, Twin Falls serves as a regional commercial center for both south-central Idaho and northeastern Nevada. Twin Falls is the principal city of the Twin Falls, ID Micropolitan Statistical Area, which officially includes Jerome and Twin Falls Counties. The resort community of Jackpot, Nevada, in Elko County is unofficially considered part of the greater Twin Falls area.

 

 

 

 

 


Kimberly is a city in Twin Falls County, Idaho, United States. The population was 2,614 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Twin Falls, Idaho Micropolitan Statistical Area. Kimberly was founded in 1905. It is named after Peter L. Kimberly, a major investor in the construction of Milner Dam which made commercial irrigation practical in the area.

 

 

 

 

 


Jerome is a city in Jerome County, Idaho, U.S.A. The population was 10,890 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Jerome County, and sits at an elevation of 3763 feet (1147 m) above sea level. It is part of the Twin Falls, Idaho Micropolitan Statistical Area.

 

 

 

 

 

Buhl is a city located on the old Oregon Trail in the western half of Twin Falls County, Idaho, United States. The population was 4,037 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Twin Falls, Idaho Micropolitan Statistical Area. U.S. Route 30 goes right through Buhl along the scenic Thousand Springs Scenic Byway from Twin Falls to Bliss. Known as the “Trout Capital of the World,” Buhl boasts numerous hatcheries in the immediate surrounding area, which produce most of the rainbow trout consumed in the United States. Clear Springs Foods, located just north of Buhl, processes over 20 million pounds of rainbow trout each year, making it the world’s largest producer.

Filer is a city in Twin Falls County, Idaho, United States. As of the 2000 census the city population was 1,620. Filer is located just west of the intersection of U.S. Routes 93 and 30.

Burley is a city in Cassia and Minidoka counties in the southern portion of the U.S. state of Idaho. The population was 10,345 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Cassia County. Burley is the second-largest city in Idaho’s Magic Valley region after Twin Falls. Burley is the principal city of the Burley, ID Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Cassia and Minidoka Counties.

Rupert is the county seat and largest city of Minidoka County, Idaho, United States. The population was 5,645 at the 2000 census. Rupert sprung up after the announcement of the Minidoka Reclamation Project, which would provide irrigation and electricity to the area by the building of the Minidoka Dam. Rupert was founded in 1906.
